Melanie's awesome Trash the Dress photography session in Churchill Square - Edmonton

On a very hot August 15, 2008, I met up with Melanie and her husband Trevor and had an awesome Trash the Dress session. We hung out by my favourite warehouse, worked our way around 104 St and finally cooled off in the wading pool at Churchill Square. Melanie looked stunning and attracted quite a bit of attention, especially from the small army of children in the pool as well. We were finally able to fight off the swarms of kids and took beautiful pictures! Check out the slideshow at:

Staff shoot with the awesome ladies at Treasured Memories!

So, on August 16th, 2008 I met up with some of the ladies from Treasured Memories to do a fun shoot for them to use on their website. We had a great time playing with scissors, and I even got to wrestle a few rings from their fingers... but more about those ring shots later!

The store is located at 5218 86 Street in Edmonton, and I will be buying my supplies there for my new price packaging - very excited about the design at that Juli has crafted for me! Just wait for pictures! Such pizzazz!

Anyway, back to the photos!

Melanie and Shane's summer wedding at Hotel MacDonald in Edmonton!

On August 23, 2008 I had the pleasure of photographing Melanie and Shane's wedding at the Hotel MacDonald. The day prior I was fearing the weather would be uncooperative since the forecast was cold and dreary, but boy what a surprise we got instead! It couldn't have been more perfect! I had a great time and the pictures are wonderful! Check out the slideshow at: Awesome summer wedding at Hotel MacDonald

Portraits 2: The Engagement Files

Sunday, August 10th was Portraits 2: The Engagement Files. It was a mini-engagement marathon that hosted by ENV Photography in downtown Edmonton. Eleven couples came out to play that day and all of the sessions were wonderful! I met a lot of fabulous people and took even better photos of them! Here are a few from the day until I can get them all edited!! I can only hope that I will be lucky enough to get to photograph a few of these wonderful people on their big day!

Toga! Toga! Ginny's bachelorette party!

This past Saturday, August 9th, I met with 5 lovely ladies to celebrate Ginny's last few weeks as an umarried woman. The toga party was a surprise, and so was I! We had great fun as the ladies got into their costumes for the photoshoot to kick off the day! It was super fun and action packed! I look forward to getting to tag along for more of these cool bachelorette parties! Much better than getting plastered at a bar... Here's a few teaser shots for now! A Sunday with Carley and Emma

On Sunday, July 20th, I was joined by Carley and her darling daughter Emma at the Muttart Conservatory where we played in the sun. Emma did not want me to take her picture, but I snuck some good shots anyway! Enjoy!

Past my bedtime with Anti-Nowhere League

Last night I was convinced to come out of self-imposed hiding and I went to the first night of Unrest Fest and took a few shots of Anti-Nowhere League. Hurray for not using flash! The show was great, albeit stinky due to the crusty factor of a good number of the crowd. I'm glad I went! Here's a few of the better shots from the night!
